I really like Plant's self assured posture. Ive seen a number of his interviews and he seems to sincerely believe in what he doing and always gives props to his band; this is key and demonstrates that his real desire to have an ensemble experience. Obviously being Robert Plant carries advantages of confidence but he says what he means w/o concern for politeness or gratuitous self promotion. He's good and knows it and wants to share it others(musicians) as good as himself. He continues to seek personal growth.

I agree and it shows in his music nowadays with Carry Fire in 2017, Raise the Roof, Raising Sand and much more in 2024. He's touring and already had sold out shows in the UK. He and Alison Krauss will start their US tour this June in Tulsa. 😊

Last night in a dream we had a full life together. He was kind, fun, great conversations, practical moments on a car drive. Brought me here. I woke up missing him. 😂

Bill...just watch how engaged Robert is in this interview...he LIKES the questions and you are really helping him open up. I think YOU could tell at this early point that this was a really important album for Robert. Before this album came out, I (personally) was pretty sad that Robert had put an end to his reunion with Jimmy. But when this album came out, I suddenly was very excited about the prospect of Robert Plant as a solo artist. I realized that he had just released his strongest album since probably 1976's Led Zeppelin album PRESENCE. THANK YOU for posting these interviews & documentaries!!🙂

Время остановить невозможно. Как РОБЕРТ ПЛАНТ старается сохранять фигуру, как питается, плавает ли в холодном море?

Bill, your channel truly is a treasure. I moved to Chicago in 2007 after living my first 32 years in Canada...and I miss the old days of watching MuchMusic and ESPECIALLY MuchMoreMusic. Recently discovering this channel and watching these interviews from your archive (plus some of the career-spanning documentaries you produced/edited) has really made me happy! Thank you, sir.

I thank you for your words and time. Cheers, Mate! (BTW...moving to Chicago must have been awesome! Cheap Trick! Liz Phair! Eddie Vedder! Veruca Salt! Local H! The Blackhawks!!!)

@@WelychkaBill Thanks very much! And you're so right, Bill...Chicago is a dream! Cheap Trick indeed! Vedder! Phair! Belushi! I don't know if you saw...but my friends & I were very sad that we all lost Steve Albini recently, who was still running his recording studio in Chicago.😥 Not sure if you ever had a chance to meet or interview Albini...but he was one of the greats! And yes...the Blackhawks are legends. BUT...(though I may be foolish) I still hold out hope for the Leafs one day winning the Stanley Cup! Keep up the great work! Thanks again.☺

I don’t even listen to todays music, I listen to the classic rock, & crank up my Led Zeppelin music. I also love the old Motown type music, I couldn’t tell you who the new so called artists are, it’s to fake.
