For the correct application, you first need a roller with a brush and a doctor screen to apply first the special deep base WEMA BON and then the special adhesive base WEMA SAND. Both have to dry for 24 hours. Furthermore, you need a container that holds at least 20 liters and a measuring cup for the correct application. A bucket of warm water must not be missing in the application. The wallpaper flakes, the mica, which can be ordered optionally, the supplied plastic trowel, the range of Japan spatulas for smaller corners and edges and last but not least the correction trowel for the finish. After priming with WEMA BON and WEMA SAND you will get an ideal white and non-slip surface to apply the liquid wallpaper. The right application continues with mixing. It now comes to mixing the liquid wallpaper. The required amount of water can be found in the packaging of the respective wallpaper flakes.
Add the supplied paste to the water and mix well with the water. Place the wallpaper flakes in a larger bag and if necessary add the mica as a further decoration and design element. Now shake the material properly so it loosens up and mixes well. Now the flakes are added to the water and mixed only with the hands until a homogeneous pulp results.
Now let's have a WEMA beer break, because the liquid wallpaper has to mature for a few minutes.
After the maturity, it can start. Apply the liquid wallpaper to the plastic trowel and put it on the wall. Please make sure that you hold the trowel slightly angled, for an optimal wall application. The application thickness is 1 - 2 millimeters, depending on the material.
With the correction trowel, the finish is made to correct any unevenness, if necessary. Depending on the weather, the drying time is 2 - 3 days if the order is correct. Drying can be accelerated by using a fan.
