And about how the Closer was this unequaled masterpiece of comedy that no one could ever understand. The Closer SUCKED. There are people who claim they drink bourbon straight, but they have the mistaken notion that whiskey should taste bad, and a manly man can drink it despite the flavor. As opposed to single malt Scotch, which I won't mention because people are into Bourbon. A useful analogy would be to call Bourbon the ketchup of whiskey and Scotch the spaghetti sauce of whisky. It doesn't have to be that way, but Bourbon is limited in the time they age it in casks.

The issue with aluminum is that it may cause breast cancer and since same tissue in breasts can overlap with the armpit, it’s a pretty serious issue (not a doctor so I don’t know how to word it right but it’s a thing).

Deodorant is one of those things that keeps you smelling so you keep having to buy it. Traps the bacteria in your glands, you gotta scrub those pits, keep them trimmed and spray with an alcohol based spray, takes a few months to not need it but it's worked for me as long as my diet is clean.

Secret deodorant: the powdery chalky sensation you’re describing is a result of the antiperspirant quality, I believe. This can be found in mens as well, anything with deodorant + antiperspirant. Personally I use the antiperspirant variety in winter, but my skin has trouble with it when it’s warmer so it’s a regular deodorant only that lets a little sweat out. Love the pod, mint julep sounds tasty.

I fucking love seeing Stanhope live, well not only that but when listening to some of his early material I felt like I was getting to witness him achieve a full on mastery of and achieve the status of a professional contrarian who makes points with few to no holes. Flawless through every twist and turn he took throughout his bits subject matter, Doug absolutely has no problem pointing out and making sure that the massive societal hypocrisies that have plagued people from all around the world for a long, long ass time are mostly due to the majority of individuals wanting to avoid ANY subject matter or topic that 9 times out of 10 will become immediately confrontational when being brought up in a public forum. I believe it was the 2nd time that I ended up seeing Stanhope live, it was Nov 11, 2010 in Orlando at some downtown dive bar which held about 80 people max by the looks of it. I know this for a fact because I still have Facebook pictures of Doug and I together. I was completely drunk and stoned out of my mind by the end of the show. I was even "that guy," sporting a Stanhope light brown colored merch t-shirt that had his face with a finger pointing up and sporting one of his taglines, "Sod-o-mite!!" I recently tried to see him when he ended up returning back to back to San Francisco to pick up where he last left his tour off, but Cobbs said vax card or beat it! Since I already had immunity given I got it and wasn't particularly worried about the possibility of catching it again or the threat of future variants I just never felt the need to go out and get the jab. Well, given the SUPER DUPER f'd off situation that Cobbs created for me after they decided to acknowledge(via an email and no other way, this email for Stanhopes show was sent out late Wednesday night/early Thursday morning, roughly 16hrs before my show time/date was to start there at Cobbs and the email that they sent out was to warn ticket holders that they're now open and shows start the very next night, starting with Stanhope and that the days/times your original ticket was for is now for the same days/times; I had a ticket for his Thursday 9pm show because that Thursday was the only night left available at the time I bought my tickets) that the patrons who had bought tickets for the canceled shows back in 2020 could only get into Cobbs if the were able to prove that they had already been immunized and the only form of verification that they'd accept at the door is the vax card; after reading this stipulation and the time I had before my showtime started... I immediately realized, it was at that moment I knew that I became sincerely shit outta luck... I was so desperate to at least try and create some sort of good or positivity from this whole absolute cluster fuck that Cobbs was more than ok by doing nothing more than sending out a singular email late Wednesday night to ALL previous ticket holders who had purchased tickets for Doug's shows back in 2020 from Thursday-Saturday and because I had no time to meet Cobbs bs vax requirements I ended up making a few post on Facebook, craiglist, etc and even reached out to some people I know from around the Bay Area if they were at all interested in going to a comedy show that Doug Stanhope was performing at... FOR FREE!!! To my utter shock and disbelief, not a singular mf'r got back to me or contacted me via any of my various posts online. I couldn't locate anyone with a vax card who was interested in seeing Stanhope for free... Just terrible bs shit circumstances for myself and anyone who would've loved to see him live, like either of the dudes who ended up emailing me early Friday to see if they could use my ticket. I thought I made it clear my ticket was for Thursday night only, but I hope that even though I wasn't there that Doug was paid in accordance with as if I or anyone was to confirm the ticket at Cobbs with my PAID FOR, but now LOST $50 ticket. Sadly and I'll be straight up honest with you guys. If Cobbs had bothered to give an appropriate amount of time to go out and get a vax/vax card; I'm talking like even one more additional days worth of time, I totally would've been able to go get the vax and when it comes to Doug and one of his live shows; It goes without saying that I would have done just about everything I could to try and make sure I didn't miss his f'n stand up show. PS. So seriously, a bigtime F you to Cobbs for being some next level inconsiderate dickwads when thinking that sending out an email so ultra close to a stand-up start day/time was cool or like that somehow any of us were supposed to somehow know or be made aware through some other avenue that Doug was back in SF and he's here to preform his shows at Cobbs, even though Cobbs has been 100% radio silent for over 2 years. Hey you two podcast hosting qweefs, by any chance would this scenario and straight fucked off by the club could as a peeve?

I had a close call with a drunk pilot once in Denver. I was maybe 20 & with my mom in a tiny hotel bar. It was just us, the bartender & a really obnoxious drunk pilot who boasted he drank like a fish before every flight. Ugh. He was getting real handsy with my mom & generally pissing me off.
