Wendi Adelson, the ex-wife of the murdered Florida college professor Dan Markel, takes the stand and testifies in her brother’s murder trial October 26th-27th. Wendi Adelson eventually decided to end her marriage with her ex-husband, causing some tension when it came to the custody of their children. When the couple split, brother Charlie Adelson made a joke that getting Wendi a TV was cheaper than hiring hitmen. Prosecutors believe that Charlie Adelson hired multiple hitmen to murder Markel in order to regain custody of the kids they shared.

Not only did she change their last name but they dropped a family name of the older boy. It's a Jewish tradition to name a child for a relative. She removed the name he was given for one of the father's beloved family member. She also let a family heirloom. It's significance is more than what it was worth. I thought he called her and she didn’t take the call. She returned the call after he was killed. Roshbaum then says to her “you didn’t talk to Charlie that day right?” She says no. She did too! She called him to ask if the tv was worth fixing. Am I wrong?? I don’t think so. .

I’ve watched a lot of trials and have never seen someone get away with leading the witness as much as this defence attorney! I cannot understand why the prosecution is not objecting to this. I really hope this jury is not buying this BS or the poor acting from this witness. I hope the whole family goes down for this and Dan’s family gets complete justice! I can’t wait to see what the 3 who are already convicted have to say about this extortion garbage the defence is running with.
