I'm glad he didn't either, but I could see why he would. Chandler had A LOT of confidence issues, even after marrying Monica. Monica herself grew up fat and also had a lot of issues with self-esteem. Chandler thinks women in general aren't attracted to him, so a hot girl coming on to him while his wife is already upset could illicit a moment of weakness. That's all it takes unfortunately.

I really like the scene comparison between This when Chandler was in an interrogation with his partner & he sabotages his position by his replies & Ross points that out.
