What hurts me more is how I remember her being very strong, very opinionated, and quick with her questions/insights. Watching this is like looking at an empty shell; it's as if she's reduced to nothing but repeating what the teleprompter/earpiece says, curious in a child-like way (not trying to be insulting, but I couldn't find a better way to describe it), and just completely withdrawn. I would and could never have thought someone like Wendy could go through something like this. I hope you get better, Wendy.

@@michaelspyker8390 I am hesitant to deny claims, but for some reason, I believe Wendy does not exhibit the typical dementia seen in others. This opinion is based on a video from last year, where Wendy did not appear completely well but was nearly herself. ​If it were dementia, such rapid progression in a year would be unusual, which I doubt is the case. It seems the documentary may have shown Wendy influenced by other factors, not her true self. Wendy has always been a hard worker, as evidenced in the documentary where she repeatedly discusses her work, even with her siblings whom she has recently been in touch with. Should she receive the necessary help and improve, it wouldn't surprise me if Wendy amazed us once again. For now, she requires her personal space, and I truly hope she regains her strengths. Although my thoughts are open to debate, watching that video convinced me that Wendy still had her spark, and I was keenly anticipating her podcast, despite its cancellation. This made me sad: I miss her! Seeing the difference in her first 10 seasons (high heels, sharp, and quick-witted) vs. the more recent (slower moving and slower processing) is such a contrast. I am a radio Wendy fan, and she's been part of my life since young adulthood. We love you, Wendy. Get well soon! And thank you so much for caring enough to preserve her legacy, @thewendyarchive. Wendy's condition is not great in here but I remember it was still getting better than some of the truly terrible days back then. But comparing this to her condition in the latest docuseries? It's hard to imagine how fast the dementia has progress in 3 years. And looking back from now, a lot of the mood swings and snaps make sense now... there were clues and we were too blind to see them

wow this is awkward she is clearly not with it at times. theres a disconnect. I think her biggest issue is alcoholism. I know she has all otehr kinds of diagnosis but her drinking is what is making her unstable. but the dementia is beyond being cured. So we will not see her back on our TV screens like before. No tv network will take that risk.

Did anybody else feel the interaction between her and Michael Bolton was a bit uncomfortable? I know Wendy wasn't at her best here, but frankly speaking - Bolton seems pretty out of it and reminded me of someone with Parkinson's. I miss Wendy. I didn't always like her vibe, but the way things worked out for her is pretty tragic - and I wish things had been different. I don't understand that much about her illness or her substance abuse issues, but there's this silly deluded part of me that hopes she could get better with treatment and return to form, quick-witted and sharp and host again with the same energy and vitality that made us like her.
