WENDY'S opens in the UK! British family try WENDY'S for the first time!

The reason the burgers are square is an advertising gimmick the founder Dave Thomas used. The saying was "we don't cut corners with our burgers". Implying they use the best and freshest ingredients even if it costs more to do so. Whether that's true or not is debatable 😄.

Way back - 20 years? Wendy's was in the UK. Was the best takeaway. Hope they open again near me.

FYI - You missed out on the salads, they are one of the best things to get at Wendy's. They are my go to when it comes to a fast food salad & the best currently is the Summer Strawberry Salad. Also, they do have a Son of Baconator or a Jr Bacon Cheeseburger, which are not as big as the regular Baconator. These are good options if you want something with less cholesterol for you family. Another good try is the chocolate chunk cookie. My family also loves to have the chili from Wendy's and we like to have them with some of the saltine crackers crumbled into it.

we have pretty much have everything you guys have on your menu's. tbh when the Pub fries and burger are in season, they're the best imo

When I go to Wendy's I get the large chili, with their little packet of chili hot sauce, and the baked potato with cheese and bacon, and the single with cheese, lettuce, tomato, mustard, and ketchup. I eat the single burger and the baked potato, then I put the chili in the fridge, and save the chili for the next day and eat that after heating it in the microwave. I always get the chili, because it is really good, I think they have the best chili of any fast food place in America. It is really meaty, and it also has a lot of veggies in it, and it taste just like the chili my mom used to make. And all the Wendy's in America have the chili and the baked potato with cheese, I get them all the time. The frosty is no big deal, it's pretty much just ice cream.

Wendy's jacket potatoes over here in Canada are.... good, but not great. But Arby's makes a deluxe jacket potato with SHARP cheddar cheese that is to DIE FOR!
