How did this person became her guardian in the first place?!?! Usually they turn to spouse, kids and family before reaching out to an unknown stranger appointed by the court.

They may have but at this point when the systems have made up their mind on situations. You need a powerful lawyer to represent you. That can cost 30 to 50k for them to take your case.

@ I’m trying to understand the plan. Are they hoping public pressure will force a review of this case? I don’t know all the reasons why she was placed in this guardianship in the first place. Have those records been unsealed? IMO, if your family wants to take care of you and bear that responsibility, then so be it. Whatever happens have that, it’s on them. Wendy does not sound well, but she and her money ought to be with her family unless Wendy signed documents stating otherwise when she was of sound mind.

@HotCurryMouth idk the details of Wendys case, but unfortunately, we do live in a society where public outrage gets higher ups to all of a sudden take another look. It doesn't always work but a lot of times it does which is why you will hear celebrities and public figures go to their platforms when they aren't getting heard/ justice on their own. Sad part is like Alex mentioned what about all the people who dont have platforms, a voice, family to fight on their behalf. ..you never hear their stories and thats how the system can keep on keeping on and sweeping their unjust ways under the rug.

I think we "understand what she's saying " but still not sure she's ready to handle all her business 🤔 we don't know what else is happening. This is a small glimpse of a bigger picture. Still a lot of questions but the guardian needs to be replaced.
