After watching the documentary, I came away being most upset with this lady, Shawn the publicist! She pretended she saw none of the problems Wendy was having. She was the shadiest person they showed. I can't say I was Wendy's biggest fan, I would see her show every now and then. I did watch all of the documentaries and I want to say, I had tears in my eyes seeing how delusional, thin, lonely and drunk she was. This poor woman who at one time was on top of the world is in her own delusional world. I hope she is getting help with all of her troubles and she can resume a different, happy life. Clearly, the guardian in this case initially took the least restrictive approach -- allowing Wendy's people and her family all kinds of access to Wendy. When the guardian saw that wasn't working out, she moved Wendy to a facility unknown to friends and family. And the family admits Wendy is doing much better.

And some attorney should step up and represent them and rectify that, they just have her drugged up and have her acting crazy. I didn’t watch her religiously but I always thought there were times she would stop and search for words in her mind. She did it quite often and I just assumed it was just a quirk she had. I watched all 4 episodes of the documentary and what I see is years of alcoholism taking its toll in the form of Wernicke-Korsakoff syndrome aka Wet Brain. I think it’s easier to call it Frontal lobe dementia since the condition has been in the news due to Bruce Willis’s diagnosis. Either way whatever the diagnosis it is a truly sad situation.

Everyone, including family, is out to get theirs. Family became used to Wendy's financial generousity when she was on top. The son was raised in luxury and is still young, so he has no sense of financial responsibility, never had to. The neice is like a dog circling it's fav bone (gravy train) and growling at another dog that might take it. The publicist and driver are new to their positions and have no loyalty to Wendy. The friend, turned personal jewelry shopper, turned manager is so overwhelmed he's like a raft trying to stay afloat in a tsunami. If her brother and sis were more concerned and less indignant that the courts said a stranger can do a better job taking care of Wendy than her own family, they would have been at her home with her to take care of her. Who would have a sibling very sick and not rush to be at their side to help them? The family cares, but left her alone and not eating and drinking and unable to tend herself or clean her home. Actions speak louder than words. Her fam is just embarrassed that people can see what they were NOT doing for her.
