I just love these sparkling, colorful, creative icicles! I am new to beading and don’t have much of a stash or charms yet. However, I have collected some beads at the local thrift store & washed them and taken them apart and sorted them by color. I also joined a bead box club. I have enough to make some of these. I can hardly wait to get started! Thank you for your ideas and stories.

These are adorable. I have quilting and shopping but I’m making afew of these. Adorable. I’m going to make them a little longer. Just for grins. I have made icicles in the past with a bunch of crystals I love the seed beads for wrapping. My sister has a few of these on her name. Adorable.

I’m so happy to see another beader doing the spiral icicle ornaments! I just wrapped my 12 day crafting series and these were one of my favorites to make. So pretty! I make similar ones with key chain rings on one end for key chains, purse dangles or to hang from the rear view mirror. I leave them in shopping carts, on benches, in elevators...etc. for people to find. Just to make there day.

They are all so pretty! I think I like the red with the pearls and gold seed beads best! They are all so pretty! What fun to make! They look lovely with the snow out the window! Plus they would be a nice gift on the outside of the package! Yes being thankful for miracles happening! When I was much younger and my kids were small we had a hard time paying the rent! The doorbell rang and there was our landlord in a Santa Clause suit accompanied with elves in costume, with box after box of food and gifts! Not to demand the rent but to deliver Christmas cheer! That’s what Christmas is all about! Giving to others who are having a hard time then when things get better giving back to others! I like the way you say use what’s in our stash! Sometimes we forget what is all there! Also saving odds and ends of wire etc to use for a later project! Thank you for the cozy fun videos! God bless you and your family and Merry Christmas!🎄 ❤

For this project you can get away with a softer wire. For most projects I like a little harder wire. I love to use Beadalon Wire. But this can absolutely be done with Artistic Wire which is generally softer! Does this help?

One of my favorite moments when God provided, i think it was Christmas 94 I was a young mom of 2 boys 6 & 2. Newly separated, living in a tiny rundown place and just lost my job due to cut backs it's December 23rd food was limited or tree was one made of craft paper taped to the wall. No presents for my babies. No family to lean on. Worried mom I was and I had tried so hard and it just wasnt looking like I was going to be able to provide a Christmas for my children. My prayers were answered when 3 ambulances pulled into my driveway. I was very confused not knowing what or why they were at my home for. Then as several elves and Santa popped out the back all carrying bags or boxes and 1 even a live tree. Christmas was delivered! I get choked up still, i dont know how they found out about my family, but it was clearly powered by God. They filled my fridge and cabinets full, put the tree up, decorated it and the house with all the lovely decorations they brought and just loaded up with so many presents. It was a Christmas I will never forget. God is good! And those were wonderful, I love that you're are doing all these videos, I am looking forward to what you got planned. I am planning on most of my gifts being hand made this year. I think they are extra special. Question did you ever design anything with that Ethiopian opal strand I sent you? I ask cause I am trying to come up with ideas, I've made a few gifts but was hoping to come up with a few more ideas. I struggle with what to pair with them. If you did please share I would love to see! Hope you have a absolutely wonderful holiday season ❤️

@jodykrontz oh great timing I look forward to it. I have several strands that I bought from a gem cutter in India, being so special I try to find the perfect projects. I get stumped matching them and allowing them to remain a focus. I recently did them with some black onyx and it turned out beautifully. On the formal side but I rocked it in Jeans, Carhart jacket and work boots yesterday to do some chores. . . Thank you for your kind words and many blessings to you my friend.
