Thank you! I’ve been struggling with making spirals for trees similar to this. The first time I tried I didn’t realize I was using memory wire. That was frustrating! Thanks again for your video!

I love these so much!!! Your tutorial is great- I am able to make the tree frame with the 20g wire, I measure it and my calipers are saying my wire is actually 7mm? Also, I picked up some 11/0 seed beads, I have some miyuki ones, and Czech glass beads, and a few other that I’m unsure of the brand of- but I’m running into the same problem with all of them. I either can’t get the bead on the wire at all because the hole is too small, or it doesn’t want to go around the top part of the tree. I know I must be doing something wrong, I’m just not sure what it is? I want to make these so bad!!
@samanthalatimer13 күн бұрын
Sadly some beads are a pain and not the same consistent size as they should be. I just use a small scrap of wire and try each one before I use them. You could get away with 22g if it’s not dead soft ☺️
@thisissuperkat3 күн бұрын
@@samanthalatimer1thank you SO much for your reply!! I just ordered some of the same artistic wire you’re using and am going to pick up some toho beads and will give them a go! I’m determined to get this!!! Lol. I might try the 22g if I see that what I have isn’t too soft, fingers crossed!! Thank you again!!! I really appreciate the time you take in your videos, your pace is perfect for a beginner like me- your videos are the only tutorials I’ve been watching these days because of how thorough you are and you are an absolute joy to watch.

@samanthalatimer1Ай бұрын
I wouldn’t go any lower than 20g for these, to be honest, as I think they would be too flimsy with a thinner wire.
