I must have 300 plus of these size of envelopes....from a friend who cleaned out her office supplies...some I thought I'd take to good will, but plenty to make booklets with themes for my friends who love crafts or sewing or cooking or gardening...with some places to jot down notes...my friends like just looking at these little things..not journaling really, but they are happy when the get them...so I think you have inspired me to get some made...or maybe I'll make some for the Nursing home residents, for the holidays..who knows... but thank you for sharing with us Wendy....Hi Midge. 🐈

Great idea! Very pretty! I had been looking forward to you using your dollar store haul. Fabulous! Wendy, I know I can never miss Leo as much as you do. But, wow, I miss him here. He was the embodiment of all the cats I ever had. Leo always looked warm and furry, sometimes with only his paws in the frame. He loved to hear you talk. Changing the subject, my son-in-law and daughter give their dogs CBD. It helps on car rides. There is a really funny video on The Dodo. It features a cat who has a thing for potatoes. Loves ‘em, so they put a couple of potatoes in his cat carrier and he was happy. Cats are quirky.

Wendy you can get a beeswax circle in round container to wax your non-waxed thread. I learned to wax all threads when I was taking some quilt classes a looong time ago, lol it really helps.

This is really cool Wendy. Another idea similar to this came to mind while watching this. Same idea using envelopes, but the longer ones - using pages like you did, but maybe same but unbusy patterns, adding tracing paper to make pockets and turning this into another ephemera holder. What do you think? Anyway, another option for binding threads from the dollar store is waxed dental floss, I've gotten from the Dollar Tree before. You could wax it with beeswax yourself. I believe it would be in the quilting area of Joan's or on Amazon. (Yes I know you're only using supplies from $tree or similar, but for later if you intend keep using that thread.) 😊
