I would love to see more videos on lap crafting! Both for myself while watching TV, and for occasions when I get together with my sisters to do crafting. Were usually sitting around somebody’s living room and it’s hard to find something contained and easy to do in a small space. These videos would be very helpful.

Love these items! I am making journals for a Christmas market and found that working in these types of crafts at “down” times helps the flow. I have been using books pages and scrap pages so that I can just glue or sew them onto finished journal pages. 😊

Yes, lap crafting is definitely worth a series! I’m a quilter but have found JJ. I enjoy it because I can do it while spending time with my daughter watching tv. That’s not possible with quilting.

Finding rows is exactly what I do when I fussy cut things with lots of stuff on one page 🤣🤣it seems easier to cut rows then cut them out versus trying to manage the whole page. I also agree that the journals speak to us when we are creating & the ephemera does as well. I use the same ephemera for several journals but may use them differently or cut them out differently. Thanks for sharing your crafting methods 😊

This WAS fun and you make such beautiful things. I LOVE the idea and title of "Lap Crafting". It is what I do mostly. I watch things on YOU TUBE mostly as I craft. One of the reasons I love the journals and small items is that they do not take a lot of space to make or store. I really like the idea of a series! Your clusters are so pretty -- never thought of just using staples to join them. Seems like it would be much easier and free flowing to do them this way rather than sewing a long strip together! Thank you for the ideas. Hugs.

I am always trying to craft in front of the TV. Have to keep my hands and mind. Busy. Loved this. I would also love to see how you use any of the long strips of paper from the scraps and scrapbooking paper tear offs. I am currently trying to premake a bunch of edges that can be added to pages.
