Do you have any idea, how hard it is to get a Ph.D. They are not just handed out to anyone. You have to write a thesis paper (research paper) on a topic in your major and prove a point. Mathatmatics is the hardest (in my opinion). Science by far isn't easy either. Many of my friends, have earned there Doctorates'. So, I know not first hand, but second hand.

You're right Audra. I hope the commenter is happy and well, but she should recognize that slavery was going on in Africa long before the international slave trade to America, that blacks enslaved more blacks than whites enslaved, that whites ended slavery in their African colonies and the slave trade on the high seas, and that, during the slave trade with the 13 colonies, more whites were enslaved in Africa than blacks enslaved here. Now the colonies are gone and we see slavery returning to Africa. Knowing both sides of a story should promote understanding and give us all a better chance for our future.

Ok. Two questions: Is that your photo on your avatar? Or would you rather look like her? Can you answer this honestly before you read the rest of my comment? Let me tell you that your condescending towards men's judgement on beauty is a plain hypocrisy. In fact you pretty girls look down with pity on girls who aren't like you. It's all to make you feel better and more valuable in your own eyes. You hate that men value you, regardless other positive features, for your pretty face and boobs. So you think that you have right to tell the guy that it's just his opinion that someone is not pretty. I assure you that 90% of men doesn't find her appearance very attractive. Which doesn't mean that they wouldn't find other things attractive in her. Men are honest and brutal. Women's mind is convoluted and bogus.

She took the time doing what she wanted with her education, she got married and decided to have children. She happened to get involved with two tv shows that were/are number one shows. Since I don't practice or share her religion, I have nothing to say on it. She appears to have a wonderful sense of humor and enjoys living. She's speaks out against parents getting their kids vaccinated, which can and does result in children dying. She also promotes all other sorts of pseudoscientific nonsense. And acts like an expert on parenting because she has 2 kids. She's also a hypocritical Zionist, who chooses to not actually live in Israel, in spite of her describing it as the home of the Jews. Her believing that the religion she just happened to have been raised in is the right one is also a mark against her reasoning abilities.

One of the best interviews I've seen. I clicked on this with the firm notion that Mayim was one of those flaky eccentric people with crazy parenting ideas and a strange lifestyle (compared to mine). What I took away from this is that she puts a lot of thought into her life as far as her children, her career, and her relationships. She's not a flighty cuckoo like other media outlets have made her out to be. I may not agree with all of her choices, but I respect them because she has the best intentions and she's not making them without carefully considering their effects. Ty for showing me I am not always right.
@kadinb97709 жыл бұрын
I absolutely love her! She is very genuine, and you don't see that very often. I can see how Wendy almost seemed star struck just talking to her. Not just because she's a star, but because she is so real. I think it's great the way she raises her kids, not that anyone really has to comment on it, but I grew up like that. My sister and I slept in the same bed often, even when we had our own beds. As well, my parents' bed was always open to us if we needed it. I think Dr. Mayim is a wonderful role model.

It is refreshing to see that a successful, talented woman of substance has not been'chewed up' by Hollywood! Her talent can be appreciated, respected, and used as an example for others who want to try to emulate her professional,and personal choices!Great interview,Wendy, and congratulations, Mayim, on all of your incredible achievements! I had this image of her being quiet and shy but WOW! She's really great, I love how she handled the topics with ease and confidence. She makes a really good role model for aspiring actors out there. Does not compromise her beliefs, respectful of other but at the same time not overly fanatic. You go girl ;) (or woman hahaha since she's older than me)

I like her! She had her views on things w/I being overbearing to others or pushing her ideas onto you. And the fact that she is a both a Doctor and Actor, impressive!

Mayim Bialik's openness and wisdom about raising children with a former partner is refreshing and honest. She and her children's Dad are able to put their children's needs ahead of their own differences. As I note in my book, "Putting Children First", these are examples of how parents can instill resilience and healthy connection in their children and their future relationships. What a positive difference this kind of parenting can make for future generations!

Now THAT is a good interview. You could tell Wendy Williams was genuinely interested in what Mayim had to say and asked good questions. Quite enjoyable to watch.

This woman is so amazing, I am watching this for the third time, can't get enough of her. She is so smart, fast thinking, funny. She sticks to her principles without shoving it into anyone's face. Wonderful role model.

This was so encouraging to see this interview. As a grad student in pharmaceutical science, I know how hard it is to obtain that degree. And I'm 27 and grew up on Blossom! 80s baby totally know about Blossom!

When I’m forced to deal with jerks I watch Mayim’s interviews to remind me there are decent people still.

she just shows that people are totally raised different because most kids don't care anything about education once they make it. great interview
