Went To My First Magic Prerelease

I'm 41, first gen Magic player. Same as you I got out of the hobby when I was 18. Came back for the LotR set. Went to my first ever pre-release for MH3, just had fun and lost every round. For the Duskmourn event I was trying to have fun and I accidentally beat my first opponent. He got pissed and the next two rounds he was viciously destroying everything I summoned. I finished the rounds and left early. Wasn't having any fun. The Magic community is a little weird, no disrespect.
