It breaks my heart how so many of us in the black community grew up with childhood trauma. A lot of us saw things that no kid should see. We need to do better with our babies. It's hard seeing all this as u can relate to so much.

I agree it is heartbreaking I do get depressed when I think about what our people go through as well. I just pray for genuine healing forgiveness and renewal of the hearts of our people. We just need true healing and a new way of treating each other and Loving and really caring about each other we lost the ability and sight of changing the way we deal with one another.

The kids reenactment had me tearing up asking myself why am I crying. Realizing as a kid you don't know how to process the trauma and as a black man we're taught be tough and don't cry when bad things happen. It's a trend that needs to be done away with and healing should start sooner than later.

Its crazy u say that because I'm engaged to a black man and he always tells me as his fiance too suck it up and move forward and to not let other people see me sweat and it's very difficult for me coming from a household where no one cared to begin with and I have to realize that he's been told his whole life that no one cares about him or his story and that he's been told to suck it up his whole life so he's only telling me what he knows because he loves me but this comment just made me realize I gotta do better as a wife and just as a person we all gotta heal because we're just gonna continue to pass this down to our kids or our spouses

Every single one of these folks have severe childhood trauma and like Waka said its normal to them. But just because it seems normal, like a regular occurrence in your family or community it still is trauma. Real trauma. And its caused damage internally that needs to be addressed no matter how hard you think you are when dealing sith trauma it doesn't just fix itself because you ignore it. Really sad to this level of trauma in every single one of these individuals.

Lil Mo-divorced Lil Fizz-Single Jessica Dime and Shawne-Married Tammy-Divorced Mia and Soldier Boy-who knows who cares. All I know is this she is the biggest air head on the planet. When Mia first, when she first got on Boot Camp from the very beginning, one of the very first sentences that came out of her mouth was"Soldier Boy has cheated on me multiple times, and that he is still cheating "If you stay in a relationship with someone knowing that they have cheated multiple times, that means that mentally, emotionally, spiritually you have gone past to the point of no return. All that time and years waisted you can never ever get back.Unfortunately some women men will dumb themselves down and be a door mat just to say that they have a man, knowing but ignoring the fact that he isn't a man he is a boy. A person will only do what you let and allow.

Making this comment without fully acknowledging that they all come from abusive backgrounds was ignorant of you first because a lot of people don’t know or realize you grow up in an abusive home you end up having an abusive home when you’re grown and the only way you could break the cycle is acknowledging the trauma..
