My sonic had the same issue with the horn not working. My experience with with has been horrible and now I have to replace the horn cables with a thicker gauge cable to handle the 12v power. I asked the guys at the shop and they said everyone that bought a WEPED the horn doesn't work.

Yes a thicker 12v wire will fix it

@@AlexErides I have 60miles on the scooter and the back brakes squeek and feel mushy. The from brakes sound like they are rubbing on the rotor. Did you have this problem?

@adnanabbas6900 the stock brakes are very cheap $20 brakes. I put Magura MT7e brakes on front /back of mine

I bought 2 sets of Magura MT7e brakes and they come with the wire already attached ready to be used

I See. is the bolt pattern on the rear magura the same as the bolt pattern for the weped rear brakes? i kept watching your video to see how the bolt pattern looks like.@@AlexErides

Hey Rob! The brakes are Magura MT7e found them new on eBay. Also do a google search to find at other sellers also.

They work way better than the stock weped brakes, I only replaced the rear but will replace the front brake only if they fail, I may as well get my money out of them!

i noticed that the braking power on my weped sonic x is weak.before i get to the stop sign,i have to brake way in advance just to stop. i have to keep turning that little black knob next to the hand brake to adjust the braking power.but besides that,it's an amazing scooter.it's got power. @@AlexErides

question? did they replace the horn cable going into the scooter or only at the point where the cable split into two cables for the left and right horn? It would make sense to only add a stronger cable at the split point of the cable coming from the 12v power. to remove the internal cable would be too much work. let me know, thanks

@@AlexErides It worked and fixed the horn. Don't really like the horn on the Sonic X. It sound like a Truck. I notice the horn on the larger Sonic sound like a car. I bought a new horn and connected it but it doesn't work. Wired it two different ways and it doesn't work. Did you purchase a certain model from AMAZON. I bought the SEINECA Snail car horn waterproof 12v loud Dual-Tone horn but it wasn't work with the scooter. I'm wondering do it have to have Copper terminals? The one I bought isn't Copper.

Alex,i just installed my chrome horns bro.but everytime i push on the horn button,it doesnt work.are my wires crossed?

The wires used in our first model for the horn are not rated for 12 volts, I’d recommend getting 12 volt wire and you will have to take it apart and run 90% of the wire coming from the horn wire to your new horns, I bought mine from a dealer iN New York so he took care of the cost/labor for me , If you bought direct from Weped unfortunately you will have to do the work yourself
