How to play GOLF in WINDY conditions? Think about the wind!

I played my first game this year on a nine hole course, it was very windy about 20 to 25 mph and cold, one hole was 272 yards to pin, the first round I shot the ball about 250 yards with wind at my back, the second time around I put the ball on the green about 20 feet from the hole, eagle time, got a birdie out of it. The wind sideways was very hard for me but I played a pretty good round for being stiffened up over the long winter months. At 60 years young I can still do my part especially with all the great teachings on KZbin. Thanks to this channel I always get something from it.

@@Weplaygolf nothing specific, just the general thoughts that go into that. I see that most people (including myself) might be aiming with the target, but the feet are aligning closed to the target.

You know the story Gary Player is telling all the time about him asking Arnold Palmer why he is throwing grass in windy conditions and Arnold replying "all the good players are doing it, so I am doing it".

Hallo Erik, bedankt voor jouw vraag. De beste methode is om eerst uw gewone positie in te nemen en dan de voeten samen te brengen naar het centrum Vh lichaam. Bij het starten zal uw rechter voet meer naar rechts moeten gaan en dan verzet je uw linker voet maar een klein beetje Zo kom je in de juiste verhouding om met een driver te slaan 🥊

If the wind is always different, it is much harder to play than when the wind is always the same...
