His peers voted him the best WR in the league, and 2nd out of all players behind only Patrick Mahomes. It's funny if you go back and read JJ's scouting report coming out of college, the "experts" were all saying he'd never be more than a slot receiver and couldn't beat coverage playing on the outside. They could not have been more wrong.

The only thing that sucks about watching WR highlights is that the usual broadcast angle doesn’t show you much of the WRs route running ability and you really only get to see the catch and the running after that. Route running is one of the things Jefferson excels at. I recommend y’all watch some videos focused on route running and it’ll give you a much better idea of all the work it takes just to get open.

“He must have good footwork” Maybe the best, it’s either him or Davante Adams for route running. A lot of these highlights don’t show how he’s setting up routes, but he’s among the best at that. He has crazy long elastic limbs where he can cut violently, and his ability to make grabs through contact is among the best in the league as well. Most have him as the best receiver, he’s only played 3 years so it’s rare to put a young guy like that up there, but he’s breaking records to start a career. He had 1,400 yards as a rookie (4th in the NFL), 1,616 in his 2nd year (2nd in the league), 1,809 in his 3rd year (1st). No player in history is even close to his 4,825 yards through 3 seasons (Randy Moss is 2nd with 4,163), and there are only a handful of receivers that have had more yards over a 3-year stretch at any point in their careers than he has in his first 3 seasons (Calvin Johnson, Antonio Brown, Julio Jones, Jerry Rice).

Jefferson, in my opinion, is the second best WR in the league. Many would say he is the best, understandably, as he has produced better than any receiver ever has through three seasons. Fun Fact: He basically created the Griddy dance. He and Jamar Chase who both were apart of that 2019 LSU team both started doing the dance that season. Now it’s everywhere. Also they are both considered top 3 WRs in the entire league right now arguably. And also Jamar Chase was the 5th overall pick a draft or two ago to the bengals, to team him up again with his college QB, Joe Burrow. All 3 are at the pinnacle of their positions in the league right now.

I'd say that Jefferson is probably the best WR in the league at present. Jefferson excels because he has good speed, great hands, and fantastic agility and cutting ability. You mentioned Moss in the video. Moss was a freak, 6 foot 4, perhaps the fastest player in the league when he played, and a great leaper. It's really hard to say where Jefferson ranks all-time as he has only been in the league for 3 years. Let his career play out for a bit longer.

Justin Jefferson is the reason I never chase quarterbacks early in fantasy drafts. I've drafted Cousins in the 10th-12th round every year and won two Fantasy championships with him. As for Jefferson, he was a 3-star out of high school but his insane natural ability and his work ethic are why he has blown up the scene. At LSU he went from another good athlete to top-level talent in a really short time.

No stats don’t show you everything that is what the majority of the nfl community solely cares about and so we get people who think Justin Jefferson and Sauce Gardner are the best at there positions. When in reality Justin Jefferson is an insanely talented young player who can beat zone coverage but hasn’t completely figured out how to beat man against the best corners in the league

@@norskynorsk3577 okay but stats do mean something, if it was easy to get 1800yds only beating zone then why isn’t everyone? Clearly he’s already one of the very best if he’s putting up numbers some HOFers never did at least enough to be better then 8th
