Remarkable how many people will choose a coffee shop for their Wi-Fi where you have to buy something over a public library which is free., often more comfortable, and quieter.

Hats off to you guys! You embody the entrepreneurial spirit: do what it takes, figure it out as you go, work hard, do good stuff. It'll happen. I enjoy your modest, unpretentious, kind of down home style. Takes guts. Most important, you look like you're having fun. Cool. Keep it up! Love your vids!

Guys, I know this is an old video but since I was researching loft I came across your videos. I attended university for filmmaking and people don't know how much time goes into these videos. We have it extremely easy nowadays with digital because imagine if you had to splice that super 8! There is a lot of preproduction and post-production before you even begin to shoot the video, which is why so many people have gone to live-streaming or uploading their content for someone else to edit it.

for sure I will be buying the recipe book. Watching the video of the use of the Instant pot and before that really inspired me. Oh, just now you were talking about the Oregon coast not having good access. I travel between the coast where I have my home to the Portland area and in between those two points there is an absolute dead spot. I often worry about that because that highway is narrow and very few passing places if and when there is an accident no way to get help. My home is spotty, and when we have bad storms it is zero.

Thanks for the info on how you make a living on the road. Very informative as it is a question that many wonder about. it is not something I will ever do, since I do not have any sort of camper van or the like, and getting up in years and single and no mechanical skills, but aside from that I love your videos for you obvious enthusiasm and love you share. And you go places I have been or wish I could go or have been and want to go again and it is so fun for me to watch.

Plenty of great advice. Unfortunately, luck and destiny also have a hand in being successful. I have written and self-published 8 books, and I am an internationally award winning poet. I have a website, a youtube channel, facebook, twitter, linkedin & google+ accounts, all started back in 2012 and I am still struggling to build an audience, let alone make any money. KZbin won't even let me monetize because I have no audience, so I watch and live vicariously through people like you. Thank goodness, because I would love to be able to live, travel, & work the way you two do. Yes, I am beyond frustrated but I am not going to give up. Ever. Until my luck turns around, I'll keep working and enjoying watching you two enjoy yours. :)

Love your videos, my wife and I are having those same conversations that you had. We are currently selling all our stuff and going to sell the house next year. We have converted a horse lorry into a camper and hope to full time in about a year. Can I make a suggestion that when you edit the videos do a slight transition so it doesn't jerk from one to another scene. Just a very subtle fade to black - nothing fancy. Love your work and am enjoying catching up with your earlier stuff!

Im finding it difficult to comment on your videos every Wednesday, bec im having such a ball watching reruns of your old stuff (And commenting on them for the 4th or 5th time 🤓)! During one of the EAA vids, I congratulated you guys on reaching 4,006 subs, and that was not that long ago! You guys now are now doing vids's from the stratosphere (over 46.3K subs now), and although I was positive that this would eventually happen to your channel, I never anticipated being at a loss for words in regards to your new videos! Im much more comfortable commenting on #Patreon, than I am here on YT right now...strange right? 👍👌✌🏻🖖🏼😎

Good! This refutes a comment I read about KZbinrs who pretend to be fulltimers. I say you can be full or part time and still have useful content on a channel. Some nomads choose to keep their stick and brick homes. It is a personal choice. Nothing wrong with rental income either. Love your channel. I have been a subscriber for quite a while. I am full time in a 2000 Bounder MH and love it. 86 on Oct 20th.

Enjoyed another well put together video. You have inspired me to buy an Instant Pot and cooking and eating healthier plus I am shopping for a class B RV as I am convinced it is the right type of RV for me. I will still try all the models on for size before making the plunge but you have shown me that your transition from A to B was wise and enabling. I have preordered your book Joe and cant wait for Kaits IP cookbook. Please do write it! Cheers

Hi Joe & Kait, I really love your videos. They are so well done! You seem like very honest, sincere, and educated people. I plan on selling my home & taking the money from that to buy a class "B" RV. I currently have an older class "B" RV but it only gets 6-8mpg. I'll get much better gas mpg with a class "B" RV. I hope to meet you both some day. I live in the Seattle area if you should get up this way. I wish you well in your travels! Regards, Roger

Amazon must think I’m nuts and let me explain. There are a few of affiliates that when i am shopping on Amazon I’ve started using now. I didn’t realize that you guys collectively get a small amount of money. From it. So now before I just click on Amazon to buy it I go back to the u tube channel of the few I like and hit the affiliate link and then buy the item. So I never use my link anymore and there’s more than one of you guys. And I see who is next on the list, and use who it is. And you guys are now on the list. So it must look strange to Amazon. And I’ve had no problem being able pay for things threw my Amazon account. I just have to remember to go to the link when I buy something. I’ve enjoyed your videos and am going to buy the book. I’m new to u tube and still trying to find my way around it.😎

I have a KZbin channel and started up a Patreon account approx 6 weeks ago and I would like your advice on how to get more Patrons on my page? What worked for you?
