My only problem with this transformation is how his face looks like a painting from Pablo Picasso in the middle (werewolves don't look like that when they're transforming), and how it's kind of unorthodox, with no symmetry (like, one arm transforms first, then a leg, and THEN the other arm), but the way the werewolf itself looks like, after the transformation, is one of the best in werewolf movies for me.

this is probably the second scariest transformation i've seen. however, american werewolf in london was more realistic and scared the crap out of me when i was a kid. but, this was a nice indication of the best of cgi and costume. the only flaw was the morphing. other than that, pretty scary stuff here.

Hmmm... the transformation sequence itself leaves a bit to be desired. Specifically, it came off as a bit rushed for my taste, and his face seems entirely too deformed mid-sequence. Still, the END RESULT of the transform is impeccable. *two claws up*

@RickRap100 It looks like morphing video. As slow as the transformation was in The Howling 1, the Howling still looked a lot creepier and eary. Because they took the time for real special effects instead of lazing off to morphing video and computer graphics that take away from the realistic look of latest, makeup, real hair, etc. etc. Look up The Howling Transformation.

The first transformation should be painful and they need a mate if they want to but a girl wolf needs a mate to transfer so it won't killed her but if the guy isn't strong enough then of course he will die... that's what I heard of
