Fairies were my FAVORITE from sims 3. I loved being able to go tiny and fly around. I think it could be so cool in sims 4. Letting us sit on shelves in tiny fairy mode, letting us flutter about. Another sim could do a mischief "vacuum up the fairy" interaction. (maybe that could have a hidden death interaction.) just SO many opportunities.

“Scary” and “sims 4” would honestly feel really weird to me. I haven’t felt scared by a sims game since the burgler music cue scared the sh** outta me. But I understand people wanting scarier werewolves. That totally makes sense. @@kstar1489 I guess vampires in this game have always been too present EVERYWHERE to be scary or creepy (to the point of actually scaring me). Start a new game? Guaranteed Vlad will be there within 10 minutes. They’re too reliable to be truly scary. The best part of burglars from early games is you never knew when they were coming! That music was SO DAMN unpredictable! But the overall LOOK of the vampires pack, the customization (especially of the dark form), is fantastic. It is what I’m hoping for with this pack. Want a creepy vampire? You can make one! And you can edit the other ones to make them creepy, too! I would want the same with werewolves. Customization is best, because different players want different things!

It's like they never fully committed to the idea that they were making werewolves. Also I agree but cut TS3 werewolves some slack lol they were a product of it's time and I think they were mostly base on Teen Wolf for the design.

If you look closely at the pic (8:28) you can see that one of the two werewolves looks more like a bear! I think that you can create "werebears" just like you can create "foxes" or "raccoons" in Cats & Dogs. The game will still consider that sim a werewolf, but I really like the idea of giving it more bear-like features. Imagine a pack of werewolves that has to fight for its territory because werebears threaten them

It can't be a true regression if they have a whole pack dedicated to them though. It would be more like trading the child werewolf form for an overall better experience. It'll be neat if this is a thing though and then maybe World of Magic, Vampires, Island Living, and hopefully basegame plant sims and ghosts can have refreshes with full child occults (more on that later) and maybe even toddlers. Plant sims really need help imo. They haven't even really have a presence ever since that event thing with them happened. I'd love it if plant sims stopped relying on those magical seeds to stay in the form and i'm looking at you, plant sim scenario and your time limit lol They also need to be more than just green people with plants sometimes growing out of their arms too. lolololo I'm also not against the idea of there being child ghosts... but I know that there are some things that could really hurt a game's reputation and the series, developer, and publisher by extension. Quite sad really... that realistic things end up being too much for the public to handle... just because it's a game... yet similar stuff is allowed on TV and movies... but not a lot it seems.

Aside from being more fleshed out, I think there are people that are interested in playing only with vampires, or only with werewolves or wizards. Definitely went for the more human side of lycanthropy without just slapping hair and an underbite on them

I really REALLY hope there isn't a ton of terrible problems with this pack like "My Wedding Stories" because the only reason I didn't get that pack was that I saw all of the terrific glitches and thought "Uh, no, I'll just continue my base game weddings, thanks though." So I really hope this pack isn't the same, because I personally like playing with occults in this game every once in a while. So I hope that it doesn't have a bunch of weird problems.

Yay Werewolves! Some book recommendations to get @lilsimsie fired up about werewolves: 1st - Carrie Vaughn - Kitty Norville series. Fantastic series about werewolves, monster hunters, ancient vampire plots, and government overreach. Arguably the best modern werewolf series. Start with "Kitty and the Midnight Hour". Patricia Briggs - Alpha and Omega series is really good. It's all about the wolves in this one. Cool fact: shares a world with the Mercy Thompson characters. Patricia Briggs - Mercy Thompson series is about a female werecoyote mechanic, and her interactions with the local werewolf pack. Cameos with characters from Alpha and Omega.

i see why we've gotten a bunch of kits because this is a whole new type of "walk/run" style that they have to animate, a bunch of create a sim categories that didn't exist, because it's like a mixture of cats and mermaid tale customization I think. and that's a lot of coding work not just graphics and animation. also the advertisements for the little lore journeys for the plant sim were probably trying to get people to do the little secret journey's so that when this game out people would be into it, and you need to test to see if people are interested in those types of stories. like think how different plant sim is from mermaidic kelp. they've been building more lore with each larger pack. there's also the secret mushroom thing they did recently too. feels like they're aiming for more and more lore in each pack. definitely more so than the magic pack. and they've included the "group stuff" they started with universities. I wonder if they're bringing a townie back because they've had simmers like plumbella re-wamping townies, maybe its because they were looking at townies while creating the lore for this

I'm interested to see how the "fated mate" dynamic works. Maybe it's like in a lot of Wattpad books where werewolves generally don't get married and instead mate with each other. And the "werewolf specific events" also intrigue me. Will they be adding things like heats or pack hunts or runs? And how will pack wolves react to lone wolves and vice versa? I feel like there's a lot the Sims 4 team can do here.

@@_Fizel_ I feel like making it fit a body type is a lot easier than programming and designing a new rip for everything, and then only have that show up for the werewolves. If it was a overlay that would be more probable, but that might still have some issues with clipping and glitches. Making the mesh fit a body type is a lot different than designing a rip for the clothes. There’s a lot of clothes they would have to overhaul if they did that. And then programming how it would also interact with the world around it. It would not be worth it in the long run for them, because if the tails were even a little buggy people would be upset. Lycanthropes don’t typically have tails anyways ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. I’m sure there will be mods for you, though. I believe there already are. I mean I have bunny ear mods and stuff.

I actually really like the style of this pack, been wanting more grunge/rocker stuff. And the town gives me like small town around a dying industry vibes (?). And I agree about the werewolf forms, but also I think the more I've looked at them I think they are growing on me. I think I like this more than the sims 3 werewolves who were more like hairy humanoids. Which is a fine version, but this is a more drastic change. They are kind cartoony-cute, but I'm gonna try to make some scary lol
