I am in Florida, originally from Quincy. You drew me in with the New England accent but your review was spot on. I wish you mentioned the stiff hose but that is okay, I was in need of a review on this particular shower head. I hate the head design but its functionality is more important to me. Easy install from what I see. Thanks for the caulking idea for the screw holes and backing of the mount. I will do the same with my install. Thanks! I hope to see more tutuorials from you both.

I just bought oxygenics showerhead at Lowe's. I'm ok with the showerhead but the hose gets in the way, is very stiff and sticking out to the side instead of just hanging down. I'm returning it

Wondering how it held up? Mine lasted two showers, and the hose broke off the handle. Did I just get a bad one?

Ours held up good, never had problem with the shower head. We had to change it back out though, due to a problem with the on demand hot water heater. We will be putting it back on now that the problem is fixed.

Maybe someone can help me out. I just purchased one of these today and when we use the new head with our water pump, its makes our pump surge on and off. Our factory head didn't do this. Thinking its a pump issue, we ran only the kitchen sink, and the pump kicked on just fine with great pressure. Im lost

Is this saving you water...even with the dribble? Hate that dribble!

The dibble is suppose to maintain water temperature, so you don't get a blast of hot or cold water when you turn it back on. All RV shower heads are supposed to be like that. Does it work? We don't think so. LOL Does this shower head give more pressure using less water though, yes it does. :)

That dribble is necessary to prevent getting a blast of cold water when you resume full flow.

Since my HW heater already had a backflow prevention valve on the out, I figured the hot water was being forced back from the higher pressured cold side at the mixer to someplace else. So I opened the basement and added a second backflow PEX Sharkbite inline valve. It worked. Only a slight initial warm water because of the higher cold water pressure at the mixer? Anyways, if the shower head valve does not turn completely off, the cold water pressure will overcome the hot water and fill the showerhead hose line....and you'll still get that cold water blast. Of course adding a valve to completely stop the waterflow at the head or mixer, will stop the cold water blast....in conjunction with the added backflow valve.

Sounds defective or you have the Smart Pause Valve in the wrong direction.

So since installing the Bodyspa are there any long term regrets, or issues? I'm gonna buy a new shower head for my new camper "because the stock ones just suck plain and simple" I'm in a toss up between the Bodyspa or the new Ogygenics fury rv.

Having never used the Fury, I can't comment on it. The Bodyspa though is a lot better than the stock showerhead.

@@WeRmudfun that pause valve , lets tons of water through , this is by design , when you are using it in an RV and want to conserve water it totally defeats the purpose . I put a STOP valve on mine , never a problem with too hot water.
