The Rocket Executive battle oh my goodness. Of course that would happen to ROCK-y. Maybe he was originally owned by Team Rocket and has an agreement with them. It also doesn't help he brings 6 of the same Pokemon with good defense, and Smokescreen against your Rock Snake that wouldn't be stronger than Persian even if it was holding a choice band.

From the FAQ: "If you can acquire your Alt Main Pokemon before defeating Whitney, you must do so. If not, you must acquire your Alt Main with the lowest amount of badges possible. After obtaining your Alt Main Pokemon and defeating Falkner, your Alt Main must be used against every Pokemon that is defeated henceforth. Generally speaking, this means if experience is given, it should be able to receive some naturally. (i.e. without the Exp. Share) Your Alt Main must defeat the majority of Pokemon defeated throughout the entire run. " So basically he can use other mons to set up, but Rocky has to be used to defeat them all.

Have tou ever thinked about a Kenya%? After all, Kenya has lots of benefits for a run, mostly being a fast normal type with extra experience per battle. It's maybe a bit weak and would have serious problems against Yasmine, but it cannot be weaker than a 45 attack Onix with Dig as his strongest move.
