I have a Wertheim I bought 20 years ago. Worth every cent. Still workers and the power head is amazing.

Literally LOL'd at your pronunciation of 'dirty'! Have wondered what Wertheim were like for a while so really enjoyed this video, thanks, Roger!

Ian Meen That's an oldish video. I sold that machine a while ago.

I would have thought that whatever company manufactures the Hoover is the same that makes this Werthiem as they are absolutely identical apart from the colour and the power nozzle. This cleaner is also available in the UK under the Vax brand, but with straight suction only.

The bag saver attachment on these were recalled in Australia because they were melting and shorting out/causing electric shocks. Wertheim machines were sourced from all over, Electrolux in Hungary, Dynamix in Slovenia, TTi in China. The rods/hoses clips etc let them down.

I got five bags with mine and because I use the bag saver, I don't expect to have to buy any more. The Vax Maxima seems almost identical to the Werthiem so the bags may fit. They cost £12.99 for 5. Amazon have them in stock.

I just got of these and i personally think its fantastic. Its amazing how much it gets out of your carpets. I also have the 4430. A couple of faults i have found regarding the 4435 is the numbers on the powerhead dont light up as they do on the 4430 and the bags are expensive and difficult to get hold of. I wonder if any other bags from an other machine will fit??

This is exactly like my windtunnel anniversary. The canister is identical, but your power nozzle looks like it came from an oreck

That canister has been available under several brands including Vax in the UK, but without a power nozzle.

just curious if you know if your vacuum is made by the same company that makes the hoover s3670 here is the U.S.A. except for the powered nozzle the main body looks like a hoover except for the color of black vs silver here in the states, i do like your power head better than the one Hoover offers here thanks for your video

Yep, Hoover S3670 and Royal Lexon S20 too. They come from Techtronics Industries or TTI headquartered in Hong Kong.

I actually thought it was a Miele before looking at the title.

I also cannot get a plastic "bag Saver attachment for it here in Australia. Can you tell me where I could get one, and/or exactly what they call them?
@David493059 жыл бұрын
I am surprised it does better than the Sebo D4. I find the powerhead to be quite good. Of course, being a bagged machine, I can't see what i am pulling out, which is a shame. I love to SEE how dirty something is.

Picked up a 4430 here in Australia second hand stupidly cheap ($20!) in really good condition. Yes, terribly overpriced at new retail prices, and the build is creaky, but WOW does it get dirt out of rugs and carpets. The agitation from the power-head is something else. I've taken to weighing the dust bag before and after cleaning rooms and it's almost distressing how much it manages to pick up - and it's the real deep, heavy grit, not just fluff. It's like someone made a wish-list for the best possible bagged canister vac, but had a limited build budget.
