I think he know where the disconnect is between the seasons. The difference is the OG real world/ challenge fans got to know the players through real world and good character development in the challenge. We don’t really know the 20 new international people that are on for a season and out.

Yup we literally watched the vets grow up and mature into better ppl. Some of them fell into the villain role but when you hear of the things they do outside the show most of them are good people they just learned that the producers want certain results and ppl like Bananas don’t mind being the villain. Most of them don’t take it seriously it is still a game at the end of the day. & the relationships they have outside the show says a lot about their character. Wes seems arrogant af & antagonistic on the show but outside of it he seems like a very laid back & peaceful person.

Great interview although I’m surprised that he thinks he took a hiatus from challenge after rivals 3. I thought his time on champ vs pro/stars was a great run by him game and storyline wise and kept him in the loop with the challenge main still since those were around the time of invasion dirty 30 vendettas and final reckoning

I watched just now in 2022 Austin season fully...and yes, that was a "Vegas" type of season where it was just about having fun. IMO it focused WAAAAAY too much on Danny and Melinda and a lot of the episodes are formated the same: They went to the Chicken Rooster and there's some night bar drama. I know it looks like I'm throwing shade or being a hater, but no, I love The Real World, I enjoy a lot of the seasons, I enjoy these interviews...but I just had to get this out, I ended the season and had somewhat of an indifference feel even more so becuase I had to force myself to finish it. Interview's great though!
