"Can we do it again?" That alone was worth my time. That part was beyond wonderful. Gliding along like Manta's over the breathtaking coral was just fantabulous! That's southern for beyond fabulous.

What a stunning location. Crystal clear water. Loving the excitement in Warren’s voice! Your underwater footage is the best I have seen. Thanks as always for sharing. Can understand why it must be hard to leave these places.

How cool seeing those Tridacna Maxima clams in real life! Had one in my fish tank for years, they cost around 100 bucks these days for a small one. Thankfully they've figured out how to farm them at home so they don't have to take them from the wild anymore, but it still goes on. Such cool animals.

Extraordinary shot of Warren flying upside down through the entrance of the Motu (in slow motion - still flying!) "Can we do it again?" And nice diagnosis on the rudder stabilization issue. WE'll done.

Such a beautiful atoll and the snorko-flying looked terrific. Warren's mechanical ability is a hell of a lot better than mine! Thanks for sharing.

The drift snorkeling looked incredible. Y’all should do a live episode where we can ask some questions. Make some more shorts to get eyes on your channel. That clip with the Trevor song would be perfect. 😀

Amazimg that you guys got to see the crash site...for those thst do not know the story, there's a great netflix movie on Kon Tiki. My set screw let go on my FP Salina and instead of fixing it and have it fail again in the future, we drilled the shaft and through bolted the rudder arm into the shaft...many FP owners have done the same as this is a constant issue with FP's it seems.

What a wonderful spot to spend some time. Looks like paradise to me. Regarding the rudder arm, it looks like the arm is moving along the Y axis under load. Although you probably can't do anything without access to heavy tools, but something to constrain the push rod movement to the X axis may help. Some type of mounted clamp with a nylon bushing on the push rod (as close to the arm as possible and w/o restricting travel) take some of the load off?

Your anchor was not dug in ! When the anchor is buried deep enough to only barley see the roll bar is it set ! Yours looks like it's resting on hard coral just beneath the sandy surface

I wouldn’t trust my kid on a bike that had a junction like your rudder. That arm appears to already have stress cracks and may fail when you need it most. I recommend replacing the arm as soon as you can.
@bravofighter2 жыл бұрын
Warren, I think if you make a casting of it, you can then mold a new one in carbon fiber. Use chopped stand for the bulk of it, but with continuous strand in high stress areas. There’s a British material supplier that has a KZbin channel with how-to videos featuring their products. I’ll look it up and edit this comment with a link to the video, it’s your best bet, the dissimilar metals thing is what’s eating your lunch. kzbin.info/www/bejne/aGaznqSDZ5l7e80
