It's quite a famous one! I really loved QingNian night market in FengShan but it closed down shortly after I arrived to Taiwan. I was pretty sad about that!

Too funny, our family was there last summer and had the same Paella, but it was cooked by tall Spanish guy. I didn’t see the shrimp in quail egg stand, must be another new item. The over rated one is chicken wing with rice, would recommend tourists to skip that one. Thanks again 4 supporting the Taiwan economy, as I hear the night market business has slowed down since the election and China is being difficult as usual.

Frank Yu Mine was cooked by a foreigner guy, not sure if he was Spanish or not. If he was he didn’t have an accent. Definitely skip the rice chicken wing...no flavour! I’m just wondering why an election could affect the night market economy? It’s my pleasure to support it, certainly one of my favourite things to do in Taiwan.

Wes Davies, KMT lost and they wanted to have closer relationship with China, while current government wants to be independent as new country, but it will result in war. China tourism has huge impact given their population, you should check BBC videos from few years ago on effect on European countries.

Wes Davies, just look at current U.S. situation with Trump with his policies and rhetoric with lots of Canadian boycotting weekend trips. His dispute with us will only get worse once marijuana is legalized. Check CTV or Global news for Canadians banned for life if they answered prior use at border crossings.

That chicken wing rice for NT70 is too expensive. not worth it. You can get a Chicken Cutlet for about NT65. and the taste is way better than the chicken wing rice.

Ironic that your favorite that night was paella which is Spanish, albeit with a Taiwanese twist. By the way, Paella is pronounced "Pa ay ya" in Spanish.

The chiken wing is not original and the rise inside doesn't look tasty. I think the original one is from 平溪. It is supposed to be cripspy on the outside and the fried rice should smell and taste good.
