9:25 Funny thing about unique items in FF14 is they only care about the inventory they are in, so you can store additional maps of the same type in other inventories such as your chocobo saddlebags and retainer inventories.

They fixed the Active Help. It does not appear during the quest for the adamantoise egg in the Company of Heroes quest anymore, it only appears when you take a quest requiring it. The earliest is in Little Ala Mihgo, where a knight asks you to use blessed water on a tempered brand and blade in the ruins nearby.

Man, you're really underplaying Arvine. When I first took on his trial, he broke me so hard I had to rest in REAL LIFE for like a month before I could continue the game, just because of how savage that beating was. I seriously needed new lungs after laughing that hard at him.

@@Castersvarog A friend of mine took about 15 minutes to queue for the fight on his first trip through MSQ, so I took a level 70 Samurai in to Unsynch it for him. Even knowing I was a tad overleveled for the fight, and even though I soloed him, my friend was in sheer disbelief when I said we were supposed to have 6 other level 50's with us. It took about an hour for him to be convinced XD

So, your suggestion is not to focus on one job and level them semi-parallel (with the main doing MSQ and be sever levels ahead to gain the XP buff)? Even if this might be out first character, I mean even if we are new?

No. You only need one job to do MSQ. A second one at most would be beneficial for making the most use out of EXP at most. DoH/L are also entirely optional until you wanna do em

Ah.... so you can kill Mudpuppy faster..... welp i was a WHM so i wasnt confused when i didnt hit so hard.... Also, cant wait for the next ones, i am at level 50 and still overwhelemed with all those unlock quests in Mor Dhona, expecially since i cant do many of those yet (ilvl too low...) and i already forgot about Tribe quest.... I am really exited for the Gold saucer video as well :D

I was watching this and you mentioned using the item on the mudpuppy and it was 'unkillable otherwise' well, I did this without it, beat it after about 10 potions and 3 bloodbaths, and wondered why it was so hard when I did it those months ago. now I know why!

Well It was an exaggeration since... it's VERY hard. If you win, you beat somethign WAY above your paygrade.

@@noahmelt22 There are two of these in Southern Thanalan: There are two Rockskin Pestes that require a quest to beat and a Tempered Blade and Tempered Brand in the zombie area you need blessed water from a quest for.

I've already completed the main story and completed almost all of the hard mode dungeons(tried to do Amador Keep Hard mode but my team couldn't defeat the first boss. He is tough!); right now I am leveling up the rest of my classes, I already have Level 20 Alchemist but waiting for your next video, the crafting one. And yeah, Level 50 is the turning point, ignoring story. I should have known that Wanderer's Palace normal is in the Level 50/60/70 roulette and Aurum Vale is the last dungeon in the regular Leveling Roulette. And yeah, Rhytiann or whatever-his-name-is is the easiest eight-man trial. Also, you should make notes to do a Blue Mage skill video, just for laughs. I am a Level 38 Blue Mage and man, it's boring. They should have given some of the moves to easier enemies. FTR: I have a Level 50 Warrior and Level 53 Scholar/Summoner.

Tried it with my Summoner, got spanked by the monster for a few moments before I realized something. "Oh yeah, didn't I get some old vinegar to shrivel this slug?" Seriously, be careful about mashing through dialogue as you might miss an instruction.

@@christiangroff7116 I noticed the vinegar and thought I used it so I just assumed I seasoned it before I took 5 mins of constantly running and casting regen on myself before it died.

@@alexnaylor5749 Don't worry about it. I made the same mistake and killed a Shale Golem with my Blue Mage for an Ixali beast quest without putting the dissolving agent on first. XD

LMAO I just beat the Mudpuppy yesterday and cameback to watch this video. I was playing summoner and got him down to half HP before I was about to die and then I started spaming physick on myself while my pet whittled it down bit by bit.
