LISTENER DISCRETION ADVISED: This episode contains conversations surrounding childhood cancer and the loss of a child.
On today’s episode I sit down with Nikki Zablocki to talk about her son Wesley who passed away in March of 2015. Wesley was 7 years old when he was first diagnosed with osteosarcoma and after four years of treatment and living with cancer, he passed away. Nikki shares how her family vowed, “we’re going to beat this!” In 2013 they connected with Cure Search and started Wesley’s Warriors and as of today Wesley’s Warriors has raised $300,000 dollars to go towards children’s cancer research. Nikki shared Wesley’s love for his family, his amazing dance moves and his impact that still resonates today. Thank you Nikki for joining me and for sharing who Wesley was with us.
Please consider donating to Wesley’s Warriors, a little goes a long way. Be sure to check out Cure Search below.
