This could have been a perfect How to video, there's are a few things I would have done to make this better. 1. Do not ever use a screwdriver tester, they are unreliable. 2. Do not ever show people you test this while the wires are live AND holding it in your hands. 3. Use the right colours for wiring, brown for live, blue for common and black for switching. In the Video you use the wrong colours except for the black one going to the bulb. Now it's all over the place, people make mistakes easily, for instance, the black wire connected to the common (N) on the shelly, people could easily mix that up with the other black one going to the bulb.

the color code depends on your country i guess. my country is black for live, white for neutral or common and red for switching..

As far as I know, the standard in Europe is different from America as well as India and Australia.

You mean color, it has to be brown. In my country We're using the red or brown color for the line. (L) and black or Blue for N

1-Can we use shelly1 in apartment intercom unit in home? our apartment intercom works with 12 Volt how to connect? I need install of diagram.... 2-When someone push intercom (Examplemy home number is 8 and push number 8) front of the main door of apartment then Can we get natification from shelly1 then we can unlock the main door of apartment...THANKS.

1-Yes you can, You just have to convert the shelly 1 device to 12 volts by changing the jumper inside the shelly 1to 12 volt Wiring very easy 12v dc + And - to shelly + and - And intercom push buttons output to sw in shelly 1 that's it I an 0 leave it without any wiring If the intercom button is pressed, shelly relay will turned on and if released shelly relay will turned off Now notification to phone If shelly relay turn on send notification to my phone This can be done through Scenes from shelly app

Please note you want to check if your intercom work with 12vdc or 12vac Shelly in 12v work only with dc

Sorry, KZbin should delete this clip, what you are doing could kill someone, especially after you pull out the plug and insert it again! if you would have switched the orientation of the power plug then the blue wire would have been live and super close to yur fingers!
