This song was in my spirit when I rose this morning. September 28, 2023. May you ALWAYS know that the Lord is watching over you this and everyday. You may feel lonely or left out you may feel God has forgotten you but his Son Jesus walks with you 24/7. His angels are all around you. And you will carry out the work that you were born to do. This was my great-grandmother's solo song in the senior choir. She used to lead this song on missionary Sundays, everybody in the senior choir was a missionary at my church. This was back when churches had real missionaries that would minister to the lost in their communities, visit the sick and shut in, feed poor and homeless families, and bring them to church just how they were. Real missionaries didn't require the people they ministered to have what's considered decent church attire, they could come to God in their sin and be accepted by the entire congregation with opened arms. If they had it, they would give the people they brought from the streets clothes out of their own closets for them to not feel under dressed or uncomfortable among the other saints. If they didn't have it they asked around to see if anyone could spare a shirt, pair of pants, skirts, or blouses to donate to whoever they were trying to introduce to the Lord. I miss churches being in the business of salvation and saving souls, and not just being another business. 😩😩 I Love This Song, it brings back great memories of my great-grandmother....❤
