Quiet as it's kept, Asheville has a nice little downtown area for nightlife. I don't go to clubs and partake in nightlife anymore, but my daughter & her friends who are in their mid-20s have visited Asheville and had a great time.

Yeah. Very impressive nightlife for its size.

@@MileageMikeTravelsI always love visiting Asheville on the weekends, coming from Raleigh, the people are way more friendly than in Raleigh, plus I love to hangout In West Asheville alot, very hippie vibe, I'm definitely planning to move to Asheville/West Asheville in the very near future. I'm not big on the clubs, but I sometimes hangout with my friends for dinner . Downtown is very active and I like to watch the people come and go. Great video my friend and I hope that you continue to do more, thank you.

I grew up in North Asheville - 1972 to 1981 - ages 8 to 17. We only went to West Asheville when we went to K-Mart. I had a friend in high school that lived in West Asheville his entire childhood, but I didn't go to his house often so not very familiar with Haywood Road and vicinity.

If I recall, that old K-Mart building is still there. With the sign on the building and all.

@@MileageMikeTravels Yes, the K-Mart building was at the end of your video.

From what I remember he’s a retired civil engineer that did highway design for a southern state and is now retired.
