Nusrat Jahan and Mimi Chakraborty, however, are from neither categories. The two actor-turned-politicians participated in the recently concluded Lok Sabha polls at the prime of their career and were elected to Parliament through a bitterly fought election. Shekhar Gupta speaks to the young parliamentarians of the Trinamool Congress about their sense of humour, their party leader Mamata Banerjee and the politically charged situation in West Bengal. Nusrat and Mimi are placed in the parliament not by chance, but with a design in mind. They are to influence the youth of non-Hindi speaking states and minority religion to speak Hindi fluently, to be more Indian by dressing up with Sindur, mangalsutra etc. They are the agents to make Bengali youth lose their own culture, and become more Hindi-Hindutva Indian. I'm sure they were trained to speak in Hindi, every aspect of their political life will be designed.
