@@RawOutdoorsNZ that’d be an awesome clip to see bro, she’s been a pretty brutal track for a while now. Hard to believe me and my mate used to get a Datsun 120y and a Ford courier 2wd almost to the hut in the 90s. And my stock 58 landy to the hut in the late 2000s. If you get to the hut I’ll buy you a pint in Reefton when we catch up 😁

Parked up not too far from the hut to go check the deer trap, came back with a hind to find a couple of lads with their Hilux staring at the brumby, scratching their heads and going “how the f**k did you get that up here??!!??” 🤣🤣🤣

I’ve stayed in the hut on a hunting trip a while back before it washed out , we drove in on a standard navra to hut . Didn’t see any deer but managed to get a mouse with my knife in the hut so didn’t come home empty handed 😂😂. Sounds like a challenge! The patrol had a bit more work done since our last trip and we’ll be heading up to reefton the 6th of August .
