I clicked on thinking it was going to be tight game seeing as we were hosting the reigning premiers. Talk about hangover. I just remember we were either shit or ripped off in the finals for most of the 90s.

⁠@@WCEagleRockNice that would have been an awesome experience to go to the MCG and watch the Eagles have a great win and it would have been nice to give it to the Tigers fans too lol.The Eagles had a great year in 96’ that win over Richmond was in the midst of an 11 game winning streak were very unlucky not to win the flag or at least make the GF that stupid decision by the AFL at the time to not allow the game to be fixtured in Perth because of an arrangement with the MCC instead having the game at the MCG was a disgrace it definitely robbed the Eagles that year for sure.😊
