I love both versions. I love Jessie Mueller and Drew Gheling but I'm also obsessed with Lucie and David, they're incredible. I would love to see them in Waitress in London, but I don't think I'll ever get down there to see it.

Lucie's accent is really really good. one of the things i sometimes find with west end musicals is that their accents get get in the way, but her's is really great.

Since they don’t actually glue the wigs down in the show and they’re just pinned in (this applies to pretty much every show and is to make quick changes of wigs easier), having the longer lace helps hold it in place and means it’s not going to fly up. From a distance/under the stage lighting of a theatre the edge doesn’t show, but with close up video like this it becomes clear.

To be honest, David must be an incredibly likeable Person, because his chemistry with Katharine and now also with Lucie is incredible!
