I have muscular dystrophy and use a scooter or wheelchair 100% of the time, and I so desperately wanted to go into musical theater when I was younger, but I was actually told by a director once that if I could not dance my way across the stage, I could never go that route, which broke my heart. I wish they would have been opportunities like this when I was a kid because I think I would have drastically changed what I decided to do after high school. It really is so important to have trailblazers pave the way for you and to see people like you up on the stage and represented. I personally cannot begin to tell you how powerful that is. And also, prayers for you and your family. We are going through something similar here, so you definitely have my sympathies and prayers ❤
