Josh Gad and Andrew Rannells are back on Broadway, putting on a show together because they just love each other so damn much. This hilarious new musical tells the story of Bud and Doug, two best pals putting on a show together because they just love each other so damn much. It’s art imitating life imitating art! And the critics just love it so damn much.
It’s the story of two best pals named Bud and Doug who put on a show together because they just love each other so damn much. It’s art imitating life imitating art! And it’s the funniest thing to come to Broadway since 1448! (Which is the year the printing press was invented by Johannes Gutenberg, who is the subject of the musical that Bud and Doug write, but that’s not important right now.)
The design team for Gutenberg! includes Scott Pask (scenic design), Emily Rebholz (costume design), Jeff Croiter (lighting design), and Cody Spencer & M.L. Dogg (sound design).

The set reveal in the last minute is one of the coolest things I didn't see coming of maybe any show currently running. And on opening night, I overheard that the pre-show is Billy Joel purely because Alex Timbers likes Billy Joel

You guys are just too cute together. This vlog was a little light on explaining what the show was all about. I'm guessing that a large part of this production is driven by personality and history of the 2 leads.

I was watching this video, then stopped want to find it again and didn’t realize I was watching a new channel. So I subscribed good luck. I just saw this last week and ❤loved it. Not so much the material, but the two actors made it wonderful .We had great seats, but we also had some sort of a heckler in the crowd. It was quite strange..

I sat up front and agree that closer is better - but maybe not the 1 or 2 rows. It was also hard to read the hats sometimes. It was still AMAZING up there though!

Sounds like a fun show but not for me who has poor vision hehe I like a lot of improve type stuff though so give us a pro shoot down the line because this feels like something that could easily sell well to a streaming service in the same way as a comedy special would. Maybe the plushie is just a deformed baby Yeti yeah lets run with that :) which ties into Disney yes it's in fact the offspring of the Matterhorn Yet & the Animal Kingdom's Everest Yeti. Why? Well why not?
