West Gate Dorm Tour - Thompson Rivers University

West Gate Dormitories is a temporary, new addition to our campus housing that provides 114 self-contained private rooms starting in January 2022. These quality modular dormitories are fully equipped with upgraded finishes and amenities. Along with a private washroom (including shower), each single room includes a double pillow top bed, desk and dresser, wall mount TV. Shared laundry facilities (washer and dryer) are also available and included in the residence fees.

the rent is given in the wesite but moreover it is in lump sum.. since our GIC would be credited to us on monthly basis instead of lumpsum at once? The main question is how can we pay in installments of monthly basis instead of lump sum.. the figures or amount in website is given in only two options one is to be paid at once and second in two payments... cant we pay monthly??

The rent is $4,800 for the academic year, so 8 months from September to April. You can pay in 2 installments.

ICBC does monthly payment and one time payment for insurance. If you pay monthly, you pay a premium interest rate which is much more than your GIC rate
