I grew up in West Hartford and moved away some 40 years ago. The walk was lovely with so many new shops and buildings. There are days I yearn to be back, so tanks for the tour!

Grandfather lived down the road off of RT 44 Avon coming into West Hartford. Took care of his house from 17 yrs old till 33 Yrs old. Hours driving past this place ihas many memories.

Re Noah Webster: He was born in West Hartford (which was still part of Hartford then). His birthplace homestead is now a museum. It is 1 mile south on S. Main St.
