West Lancashire derby:-
The West Lancashire derby (sometimes also known as the M55 derby) is a local rivalry in English football between Lancashire clubs Blackpool and Preston North End.
The derby has taken place across all four tiers of English football, but not the top flight since the formation of the Premier League.
Blackpool were promoted to the Premier League in 2010; Preston North End have yet to reach it.
They did not meet in the League between 2010 and 2021, but will do so in the 2021-22 EFL Championship season following Blackpool's promotion in 2021.
The first West Lancashire derby took place on 23 November 1901 at Blackpool's Bloomfield Road. In front of a crowd of 6,000, Preston won 4-1.
There have been 94 meetings between the two clubs in all competitions, with North End winning 45 to Blackpool's 30. The remaining 19 matches have been draws.
The M55 is a motorway in Lancashire, England, which can also be referred to as the Preston Northern Bypass.
It connects the seaside resort of Blackpool to the M6 at Preston. It is 12.2 miles (19.6 km) in length.

Well it won't be to Broomfield Rd next season will it. Hang on let me just prepare myself for this... LOL. Oh that feels great. Don't you just love a good laugh... oh and BTW we are still 14 games ahead and now have last bragging rights after we tore you apart and exposed you for the relegation fodder that you are. 3-1 and we all know pne took their foot off of the gas at 3-0 otherwise it could easily have been 4 or 5.

You must feel so shit right now so I won't rub it in. Cheer up. At least Preston didn't get relegated so at least we can still represent the region at a decent level. Blackpool fc is like water... it will always find its level. You pride yourselves on one dreadfully embarrassing season in the prem (and were very lucky to even get there). But low and behold what happened. Well you fell faster than seagull shit from that, urm, 'Tower' of yours. A very satisfying season in the end. It promised to be such a forgettable one for the most part, and especially after losing 4-2 after dominating possession. A result that highly flattered your lot. But that was later corrected and put right. And at least you'll have got to see that match in a decent stadium. I really don't think I've ever seen a stadium with less character and style than Blackpool. Not to mention that Deepdale is literally 6000 bigger than manure field Rd.
