West Reading Borough Structure Fire Response 2/25/18

Crews were dispatched to 545 Franklin st in west Reading Borough for a fire alarm. Capt 64 Arrvired reporting alarm bells sounding. Crews attempted to gain access to the structure and eventually used a ladder to gain access through a second floor window. As crews continued to investigate, smoke was found in the basement of 547 Franklin st. Capt 64 Requested the Structure fire assignment Bringing Tower 79 And Station 25 for RIT on top of 64 & 69 on scene. As soon as Tower 79 Arrived, cress discovered that the smoke was actually steam from a dryer and reduced to call back to the original AFA assignment and the units on the structure fire assignment were recalled.
West Reading Fire Department Engine 64, Ladder 64, Traffic 64 Responding. Rescue 64 & utility 64 on scene.

Yeah, I’ve caught Engine 69 twice before but I don’t think I ever caught t using air horn
