What an excellent video and trip! You are right that I have never seen any KZbin video that shows this side of the park. I often think about how the west and north sides of the Guads must be one of the most remote areas of the lower 48. Loved all the history in this one; I don’t know much about the history of West Texas, but I recognized a lot of those names from peaks in the Guads and Chisos. By the way, did you say, “off trail”?! Surely you had a permit to go see that tinaja.

@OneMansOdyssey Thank you, Nate! I imagine many folks dont think it's worth the effort to haul enough water to the western side for further exploration, but I know a few dedicated adventurers who do. @OneMansOdyssey thankfully, more horse cripplers than sharks! As for jets, it's a good thing they're 20 thousand feet above. Otherwise, the trail might not be so peaceful 😅.
