You are missing Harvey (Honecker) Evans, who, performed in both the Broadway and movie of WSS. He’s actually in the freeze frame of the confrontation on the basketball court. Harvey is a Jet and, starting at the basketball, and, going towards photo right, Harvey is the 5th Jet on the right. Harvey Evans has worked continually in all mediums, but, especially Broadway and B’way National Tours. Look for his extensive credits on IBDB and IMDB. I believe he is now @ 86 years old.

@@timothysmith7888 He tragically died on Christmas Eve. I met him in a Manhattan bookstore in 2010, and we chatted for a while. He seemed pleased to be recognized and was a very gracious gentleman. There's been some dispute over his actual age, I've seen different years given for his birth, but if he came to New York in the mid- '50's right out of high school he must have been a bit over 80. Rest in Peace, Mr. Evans!

Just a clarification...this is the MOVIE cast...the original Broadway cast had the lovely and talented Carol Lawrence as Maria. I believe the only cast member to do Broadway and movie version was the fantastic Rita Moreno who also was in the remake by Spielberg. She is amazing .
