Great sites. The best time of year to take in the people, good southern food and the change of seasons. I love driving straight down to Florida. Hitting N/S Carolina’s, Savannah and Atlanta, Georgia. Just beautiful! Great job again Dana and Al!!!

My husband and I went to West Virginia several years ago and loved it! It was in complete beautiful fall colors and we loved all the historical places, and sites. We went to new river gorge and the mill you visited. It was so pretty. Took hundreds of photos.

Thats actually not a lake! Its the confluence of the Gauley, New and Kanawha rivers, known to us locally as Gauneka. Glen Ferris is gorgeous, and im sorry you seem to have missed the Glen Ferris Inn. It began as the Stockton Tavern in 1790! During the Civil War, it served as a hospital, and is known to be REALLY haunted! If you arent a fraidy cat LOL, you should try and stay there one night! Delicious food as well!!
