If you are in such a location and feel like you are being watched...You ARE being watched, folks know the cars and trucks that belong up in that holler, and if you aint in one, you ARE being watched. the good news is if you break down or get stuck somoen will be happy to help. Threy may ber curious about what your doing in their neck of the woods, but they will help."out for a drive and got turned around" is a pretty solid explination .

A lot of roads are maintained because the post office needs to deliver mail. But the roads can be very rough especially with the twists and turns. I have some footage of going up and down the mountain roads if anyone wants me to post those I can do that.

Interesting HNH. Because I was born & raised in a "flat" state in the Midwest, I find those hills to be intimidating and eerie. I don't think I would want them right behind my home and I'd never step outside at night either. Having said that- I admire those that do. I also get a kick sometimes of the crazy things people have in their front yards. I think I saw a Lay-Z-Boy recliner. 😊

How do they squeeze septic tank drain fields in such narrow confines and not mess up down stream wells?
