I remember my hair being threaded as a child; they'd thread all my hair without leaving any gaps and then tie it all up so my head looked somewhat like a basket lol. Taking it down was so exciting though - my hair would be so soft and long. Truly the OG heatless blowout

How long would they leave it in before take down?
@dizzylbnt
@dizzylbnt 2 жыл бұрын
@@klassy86 I'd usually have a style in for 2 weeks and then my threads/braids/whatever style my hair was in would be taken down and my hair would be washed then put back into braids or something. I'm African and back in the day we didn't have braidouts or twistouts, the braids/threads/twists were the actual styles :) it's cool to see people do more things with their hair these days!

Actually had to watch it again and I'm already a convert. The one thing I never liked about twists was how it left my ends exposed and I would get single-stranded knots and splits every other day. But this remedies that with the beads AND it looks cute? I'd always seen that thread in shops but I never knew what to do with it so thank you for teaching us ❤️ ❤️ ❤️

This method is absolutely gorgeous. I have a tip if you still want to rock two-strand twists. Take the end of your twist and wrap it up and around the twist you just finished it makes a little blunt bulb at the end! Hope that was clear lol I believe naturally nica has a short video demonstrating :)
