For our senior spring break, we got a crew together and made a cross country road trip out to Colorado. We had an epic week of fishing, hiking, and skiing in some of the most beautiful terrain we had ever seen. It was an incredible way to spend our last spring break and one we'll never forget.

#adventurealways As a dad I know the kiddo can slow ya down, but don't let it stop you completely. Had some similar memories as well watching their trip. My wife and still road trip with our son, it just means I adjust our adventure. I expect some crying lol I expect to hike for an hour instead of some massive backpacking trip. I'll take the hour, and memories with my wife and son. Before you know it you'll be 80 if you're lucky.

I am only 8 seconds into this video and know where you are, I think. LOL I went to school west at the end of the canyon you will be coming up to and that is where I learned to fly fish back in the 70's. I make it out there every other year and do a road trip. Be honest, after this trip, how many of you are planning your move to the west coast. Colorado is just scratching the surface, Utah, Idaho, Wyoming, Montana, Washington and Oregon have some of the most productive and beautiful trout streams in the world. Not to mention many also contain salmon.
