Spectacular landscapes! I was just thinking as I was watching this... "this looks a lot like Kamloops". So I looked up "Kittitas" on maps and saw that yup, it's directly south of Kamloops and that kind of desert mountain terrain. Without so much trees you can see the mountains so far away!

Great clip good choice of music. Enjoyed the desert type hilly theme especially with hills in the far background 6:10. And though not great if you suddenly came across the real thing wrongly, but youve gotta love those Watch For Animal signs especially exotic animal signs in diff areas.

I know I've seen at least Jim's take on this, but EVERY TIME I see this, I have a VERY hard time thinking this is Washington State. Looks much more... Southwestern... like Utah at the northernmost... despite this barely being 2 hours away from Seattle...

Yeah, people who have never seen all of Washington (or who have never been to the state at all) seem to just assume that all of Washington is lush, green and mountainous like it is on the west side of the state. They hear about Seattle and just associate all of the state with "rainy Seattle". Which as you can see, couldn't be further from the truth. LOL

This is easily one of the most scenic drives in all of Washington State. Ryegrass summit is one of the more treacherous drives in all of the state, as this area isn’t just prone to snow and high winds, but wildfires, as well. Snoqualmie pass is actually a bit easier than this pass, in my opinion.

Freeway Brent videos are best when played with nonstop European Trans-Techno instrumental music. He used to post his videos with this music 10 years ago after someone turned him onto the idea because I would play these videos but patch music from my iTunes instead of what he was playing. Right now I have the music on headphones while I watch these (as well as Freeway Jim) videos because all my computers are dead. (Smartphone)
